Swimming lessons at Merwestein
You start by learning to float and to do front crawl and back crawl, after which you move on to breaststroke and backstroke. You also pick up extra basic skills such as entering the water (jumping or diving), swimming underwater, turning and survival techniques.
Signing up for adult swimming lessons
You can sign up from the age of 16. In some cases we make an exception if you are a little younger. You can register via the tickets button. Registration fees apply. Once we have received your registration, we will contact you to confirm it.
It is not always possible to start swimming lessons straight away. If that is the case, your registration is placed on a waiting list.
What should you bring to a swimming lesson?
A swimming costume or swimming trunks and a towel are enough to get started. Later on in the Zwem-ABC we also practise with clothes on.
