The double sports hall has a total length of 88.62 metres and a width of 28.50 metres. Four dividing walls split the hall into five sections. These are the dimensions of the sections:
Section 1: 21.92 metres wide
Section 2: 21.90 metres wide
Section 3: 14.60 metres wide
Section 4: 14.40 metres wide
Section 5: 14.61 metres wide
If only the middle dividing wall is in use, there are two sports halls of roughly 44 metres wide each.
The vergader- en beweegruimten each measure 16 by 16 metres, and can also be used as a single space measuring 32 by 16 metres.
With a generous double sports hall a full 88 metres deep and a stand seating 800 spectators, this venue is ideally suited to large-scale sporting events. The hall is equipped for matches, training sessions and workshops, including professional line markings, gymnastics apparatus, nets, goals and basketball hoops. For maximum flexibility the space can easily be divided into five separate halls, so part of the hall can be hired as well.
Merwestein also has versatile vergader- en beweegruimten (meeting and movement rooms) for all kinds of activities. These rooms feature an innovative floor with interactive LED line markings, opening up countless possibilities for any training session or event.
