Boostlessen for Zwemdiploma A

Boostlessen are hour-and-a-half swimming lessons held during the school holidays for children working towards their Zwemdiploma A. They are open to swimmers at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, and the children practise and learn in smaller groups. The name says it all: by joining these lessons, children get an extra boost in their development, which often means they earn their Zwemdiploma A sooner.

You buy these Boostlessen as a package of 6 swimming lessons (1.5 hours each). It is an extra package that you as a parent can take on top of the regular swimming lessons, and you do not need to buy an additional wristband for it. You are welcome to join the Boostlessen whether your child already takes swimming lessons with us or follows lessons elsewhere.

Crash courses for Zwemdiploma B and C

During the school holidays we also run crash course B and crash course C. On these courses your child has a lesson every day (6 days for B and 8 days for C). Most children are able to sit their certificate exam straight after completing course B or C.

You can find the prices for the course on our Admission prices page.

These amounts are paid in full before the course begins. The price includes any extra lessons a child still needs in order to earn the certificate, plus the cost of the certificate exam itself.

If you would like to take part in a crash course, you pay the course fee straight away when you register, so that your place is guaranteed.

For swimming course B/C, the certificate exam takes place during the holiday itself or on the first Wednesday afterwards.

Registration

A few weeks before the upcoming holiday, swimming lesson parents are invited to register their child for the lessons if they are interested. These lessons are popular, so a course may already be full. You can then ask to be placed on the waiting list; places on the waiting list are allocated in the order in which registrations are received.

Children who register but do not take swimming lessons at Merwestein always have a trial lesson first so we can assess their level. We will get in touch with you about this.

Registrations go through the tickets page on this website. These always appear a few weeks before the next school holiday.
